There’s some laughter, sorrow, feeling so down that taking a bullet to end it didn’t seem so bad. Guys are guys and the nineteen to twenty four year olds that were in Vietnam were a little more intense than most. Living with death day to day is something only another combat soldier would understand. This was written to get the reader to understand that.
